Among them are “Electron”, “The Scientific- Research Institute of Mathematical Machines” (Mergelyan), “Rele” factory and so on. Thees a demand for preparing specialists with technical secondary education came forward. In June 1960 by resolution of the Soviet Armenia Ministers Council Yerevan Technical School of Mathematical Computing Machines was founded. Andrey Boyagyan (1960-1963) who did his best to organize the Technical School become its first headmaster. Later Garegin Stepanyan (1962-1967), Yuri Dolukhanyan (1989-1992), Artashes Abrahamyan (since 1994 up to now) were the headmasters of the Thechnical School.
